For a long-time client transitioning from a traditionally styled home to a newly built modern residence, Kerrisdale Design was invited to reimagine the interiors with a fresh yet familiar sensibility. While the architecture showcased clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic, the goal was to infuse the space with the comfort and character the clients had always loved. Drawing inspiration from menswear-inspired textiles—think rich wools, subtle plaids, and tactile tweeds—the design layered depth and warmth into the crisp, contemporary backdrop. The result is a sophisticated, inviting home that balances modernity with a grounded sense of coziness, perfectly tailored to the clients’ evolving lifestyle.
